Today’s teens and pre-teens are growing up in a world where external opinions, social media pressure, and constant comparison can deeply affect their sense of self-worth. Many kids suffer quietly from bullying, body shaming, or the feeling that they’re never “enough.”

This can lead to serious psychological challenges — including anxiety, depression, eating disorders, and long-term self-esteem issues.

We believe it shouldn’t be this way.

Every person deserves to feel:

Strong in their body

01.

Safe in their voice

02.

Proud of who they are

03.

The Real Problem Teens Face Today

Bullying Has Changed — and Many Parents Don’t See It. Bullying today is not always obvious.

For girls ages 10–14, it often looks like:

exclusion, ignoring, or being pushed out of friend groups

rumors, comparisons, and “jokes” that quietly hurt

social media pressure, screenshots, group chats, and silent judgment

fear of not being “good enough,” popular enough, or accepted

Many girls don’t tell adults because:

they are unsure whether it “counts” as bullying

they fear overreacting or being dismissed

they feel ashamed or blame themselves

they believe this is “just how things are”

This is the real danger:

A child is hurting, but doesn’t know how to name what’s happening — or how to protect herself.

Build confidence, emotional safety, and a deeper connection during one of the most important stages of growing up.

Power of Me is a 3-month online program with weekly expert-led sessions for girls — including special mother–daughter classes.

Her practice is not only about beauty but also about addressing deeper issues. One of her teenage clients developed premature gray hair due to bullying at school. This story highlights how emotional stress directly impacts health — and why it is important for parents to recognize signs of bullying, protect their children, and seek professional help when needed.

We are proud to present Ilona on our platform as an expert who combines medical knowledge with compassion, raising awareness about both hair health and the broader challenges children and families may face.
